Shipping and Payment Terms

On this page we inform you about the shipping costs incurred, the delivery and processing times as well as the payment methods offered for orders and inquiries at outarc. All prices stated are gross prices and include statutory value added tax at a rate of 19 %.

1. Prices

All prices stated on our website are total prices and include statutory value added tax at a rate of 19 %. They are quoted plus the shipping costs listed below, unless free delivery is expressly stated.

For modules and roof racks made individually to your requirements (custom-made items), the price is stated as “Price on request”. In this case the final price including shipping or freight costs results from the individual quotation that we submit to you before the contract is concluded.

2. Shipping costs

2.1 Accessories – parcel shipping within Germany

We ship standard accessories within Germany by parcel on the following terms:

The shipping costs stated apply per order. The shipping costs actually incurred for your order will be shown separately before you place your order or as part of our quotation. In the future online checkout, the total costs including the shipping costs incurred will be displayed to you clearly and comprehensibly immediately before you place your order via the order button subject to payment (§ 312j (3) German Civil Code).

2.2 Modules – freight shipping (pallet)

Due to their size and weight, individually manufactured conversion modules are shipped by freight forwarder on a pallet. The freight costs incurred for this are determined on a case-by-case basis and stated to you in the individual quotation before the contract is concluded.

2.3 Roof racks – bulky goods shipping

Roof racks are shipped as bulky goods. Here too the shipping costs are calculated on a case-by-case basis and communicated to you transparently in the individual quotation before the contract is concluded.

2.4 Local pickup

By prior arrangement (date and place), free local pickup in 24248 Mönkeberg is possible. Please contact us about this before your order or inquiry at info@outarc.net or via our contact form so that we can arrange a pickup date.

2.5 Delivery restrictions and international shipping

We deliver within Germany as standard. Delivery to other countries is possible by individual arrangement; in this case we will inform you separately about the shipping costs incurred before the contract is concluded.

3. Delivery times and processing times

3.1 Accessories

Unless stated otherwise for the respective item, the delivery time for standard accessories within Germany is approx. 4–5 working days.

With the payment by invoice or bank transfer currently offered, the delivery time begins on the day after receipt of payment. We only ship the goods after the invoice amount has been received in full. As soon as payment via a payment service provider (e.g. PayPal or Stripe) becomes available in the future, the delivery time begins on the day after the payment order is issued or after receipt of payment.

If the last day of the period falls on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday at the place of delivery, the next working day takes the place of that day. Working days are all days with the exception of Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

3.2 Custom-made items (modules and roof racks)

Since modules and roof racks are designed and manufactured individually to your specifications, the production and delivery time depends on the respective order. We agree the specific delivery date or the period of completion with you individually and state it in the quotation or in the order confirmation.

4. Payment methods

4.1 Current handling

Orders for accessories as well as inquiries about individually manufactured modules and roof racks are currently placed via our contact form. After receipt of your order or inquiry you will receive an order confirmation from us or – in the case of custom-made items – an individual quotation. Payment is then made by bank transfer on the basis of the invoice sent to you. The goods are shipped or made available for pickup after payment has been received in full.

4.2 Payment methods in preparation

An online checkout with the following payment methods is currently in preparation and will be available at a later date:

With these payment methods you will be redirected during the ordering process to the website of the respective payment service provider (PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A. or Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd.) in order to complete the payment process. Your card details are processed exclusively by the respective payment service provider; no card details are stored or processed on our servers. Which payment methods are available in detail will be shown to you clearly and plainly in good time before you place your order.

In the online checkout, all total costs including the shipping costs will be presented to you clearly before the order is completed. You place your order by pressing the order button expressly marked as subject to payment (§ 312j (3) German Civil Code).

5. Retention of title

The delivered goods remain our property until the purchase price has been paid in full. The retention of title relates exclusively to the specific goods delivered in each case (simple retention of title).

6. Note on the right of withdrawal

A statutory right of withdrawal is available exclusively to consumers. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that predominantly can be attributed neither to their commercial nor to their self-employed professional activity. Entrepreneurs are not entitled to a statutory right of withdrawal.

For standard accessories, consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days. Please refer to our withdrawal policy for details.

For modules and roof racks manufactured individually to your specifications (custom-made items) there is no right of withdrawal pursuant to § 312g (2) No. 1 German Civil Code, as these are goods that are not prefabricated and for whose production an individual selection or determination by the consumer is decisive, or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer.

7. Warranty (liability for defects)

The statutory law on liability for defects applies. Consumers are entitled without restriction to the statutory rights in the event of material defects and defects of title of the delivered goods in accordance with §§ 434 ff. German Civil Code; these rights are not affected by the retention of title set out above.
